Designing a Web-Based Population Data Information System at the Sungai Kanan District Office

Abstract

This research aims to build an Information System for Incoming and Outgoing Letters at the Kotapinang sub-district office. A large number of letters are made and received in sub-sections, so that searching for data will be inefficient in terms of time and effort using a manual system. So that the author feels the need to design a correspondence archive application that is considered necessary and help the sub-district office. The application is designed using MySQL web and software. The sub-section can manage with user login, so it can add, edit, cancel, delete, and save incoming and outgoing mail, as well as can search for incoming and outgoing mail. These results show that the results obtained from the implementation of this correspondence archive application are to facilitate the sub-section in managing mail archiving which was previously manual and now becomes computerized.
